Adventure Forever invites you for a thrilling monsoon trek to Kohoj Fort. Kohoj is a medieval military fortification located near Palghar in Maharashtra. The fort is said to be about 800 years old and finds a mention in the Purandar treaty along with 22 other forts which were surrendered by Shivaji to the Mughals on 11 June 1665.

Get ready to delight in the stunning natural beauty of this slice of paradise on earth! At the base of the fort is a lake which gives you a beautiful reflection of the fort. The three hours hike to #KohojFort has all ingredients for a pleasant small eco adventure landscape reflecting in small lake, hills, plateaus, misty atmosphere, greenery, jungle, flora and fauna. The atmosphere and view from the top is mind blowing.

The route of this trek is 70% shadowed with dense forest. Two natural pinnacles formed due to wind erosion resemblance human figure. Explore the fort and capture memories before you start descending.

Brief Itinerary:
06:00 – Meet the Team at Thane Railway Station outside Platform 10 & move towards base village in private vehicle
(In route pickup)
07:00 – Breakfast enroute
10:00 – Reach base village
10:30 – After introduction and briefing, start the trek
13:30 – Reach pinnacle, explore, have packed lunch
15:00 – Start descend
17:30 – Reach base village, have evening snacks
18:00 – Start return journey by private vehicle
21:00 – Reach Thane
Trek concludes with happy memories 🙂

– Half non-refundable if cancelled till Friday
– Completely non-refundable if cancelled on last day or no-show

– Travel from Thane to base village and back to Thane

8. Extra Pair of Clothes (as per schedule)
9. Slippers (optional – at the end of trek so that your feet can relax).

– Mountains are a place of rich natural beauty. Hence, it is our duty to keep them free from garbage. So please do not litter. One is expected to deposit all wrappers/empty water bottles etc. in his/her own bag.
