July 7, 2018 @ 8:30 pm - July 8, 2018 @ 8:30 pm
Rs.1200Adventure Forever invites you for a wondrous monsoon trek to Harishchandragad-Konkankada. In monsoon this place offers beautiful trails surrounded with pleasing green walls of mountains flavoured with cloudy sky and water stream on it. Do join us for this adventurous trek, and we promise that you’ll return back with loads of good memories.
Harishchandragad: The Harishchandragad(HCG) fort is quite ancient. Remnants of Microlithic man have been discovered here. The various Puranas (ancient scriptures) like Matsyapurana, Agnipurana and Skandapurana include many references about Harishchandragad. Its origin is said to have been in the 6th century, during the rule of Kalachuri dynasty. The Marathas captured this fort in 1747.
KonkanKada: One of the biggest cliffs of the sahyadris, fascinating many people from years together. Facing towards the konkan side, the cliff looks down upon the Konkan with a breathtaking view of the surrounding region. Not only vertical, but it has an overhang, almost like a cobra’s hood.
