Adventure Forever invites you for a day trek to Lohagad. Lohagad is a part of Western Ghats and lies at Lonavala. Considered as one of the best built forts of the Maratha Empire, Lohagad is situated at a height of 3,389 feet above sea level. The iron fort divides the Pavana-Indrayani basin, thus guarding the trade route from Deccan Plateau to Konkan during the reign of Shivaji.

During Monsoon season this fort is enveloped in mist & clouds and the path is particularly wet with moss and vegetation. You will be amazed with magnificent views of the tall hill ranges and the dark green meadows. Amazing view of Pawana Dam is also visible from the back side of Lohagad. It is connected to the neighbouring Visapur fort by a small range.

Brief Itinerary:
06:30 – Meet us at Thane station platform no.10 near ticket counter.
06:45 – Start travelling towards Lonavala in a private vehicle. In route pick up.
09.30 – Reach Lohagad base and have breakfast
10.00 – After introduction and briefing start trekking
12.30 – Reach Lohagad top and explore
14.00 – Have lunch at Lohagad village
15.00 – Continue descending
16.00 – Reach base, have fun at Waterfall
17.00 – Have refreshments & start travelling back to thane
20.00 – Reach Thane
Trek Concludes with sweet memories..

9. Extra Pair of Clothes (as per schedule)
10. Slippers (optional – at the end of day / trek so that your feet can relax).
11. Proper Backpack to carry all these things

– Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.
– Mountains are a place of rich natural beauty. Hence, it is our duty to keep them free from garbage. So please do not litter. One is expected to deposit all wrappers/empty water bottles etc. in his/her own bag.
