Do you want to touch the clouds, feel the wind, see the lush green mountains and walk through jungle then this is the perfect trek for you. About:
Prabalgad is situated on northeast side of Panvel, on Mumbai-Pune road. It was known as Muranjan until it was taken over and renamed by the Maratha forces under Shivaji’s rule. There is a dense forest on the way till the top of Fort Prabal. Historical references indicate that Freedom fighter Umaji Naik made a stay here in 1826. The fort top commands an excellent view of the surroundings with Kalavantin in the front. Matheran, Chanderi, Shrimallang, Irshal Karnala, Manikgad, etc can be easily identified.

Brief Itinerary:
07:30 – Meet at Panvel Railway Station and move towards base village
08:30 – Reach base village, have breakfast
09:00 – After introduction and briefing, start trekking to Prabalmachi
11:00 – Reach Prabalmachi and have some refreshments
11:30 – Continue trekking to Prabalgad
13:30 – Reach Prabalgad and explore
14:30 – Start descending to Prabalmachi
15:30 – Have Lunch at Prabalmachi. Then descend back to base
18:00 – Reach base and move to Panvel Station
19:00 – Reach Panvel station
Trek concludes with happy memories 🙂

4. Good grip quality trekking shoes
5. Personal Medication (if any)
6. Toiletries (Napkin, facewash, tissue paper etc.).
7. Cap, goggles, moisturizer etc.
8. Camera (Optional)
9. Rain wear (Raincoat / Ponchos)
10. Extra Pair of Clothes (as per schedule)
11. Slippers (optional – at the end of day / trek so that your feet can relax)
12. Proper Backpack to carry all these things

Cancellation and Refund:
● If done prior to 3 days of outing 50% will be refunded
● After that no refund will be provided

– Do not wear precious Jewelry while trekking, as we won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
– Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.
– Mountains are a place of rich natural beauty. Hence, it is our duty to keep them free from garbage. So please do not litter. One is expected to deposit all wrappers/empty water bottles etc. in his/her own bag.
